The Hungarian farming machinery industry has a tradition going back more than 165 years. The industry is represented by 60 to 70 machinery manufacturers, mainly of cultivation machinery. The background of the Hungarian field machinery industry is provided by a few large machinery manufacturers, who typically produce drive components (e.g. cardan shafts, gearboxes, driven or other running gear). Moldova's agrifood exports significantly exceed imports, thanks to the high quality of local food and the wide range of products offered by producers. Although Hungarian food products are available in Moldova, many products with Hungarian flavours, spices and innovations, or with tastes less known in Moldova, are missing on the market. Hungarian producers are open to expand their assortment.
Water management and wastewater treatment technologies
The industry leaders work together to offer complex solutions for both drinking water and wastewater treatment. The most convincing proof of the expertise of Hungarian professionals is the fact that tap water is of drinking water quality in almost the whole of Hungary.
Production equipment
Hungarian machinery companies have gained valuable experience in developing the electronics and automotive industries of Central and Eastern Europe. They specialised in unique solutions, thus finding a market niche between Asian and Western European competitors. We offer cooperation in modernising production plants and helping to achieve the objectives of the Moldovan government's industrialisation programme.
Technologies offered: machining centres, milling machines, conventional and ultra-precision lathes, grinding machines, radial drilling machines, machining cells, PLC controls. Hungarian designed food processing machines, packaging machines.
Medical equipment
There are around 150 Hungarian medical device manufacturers and exporters, with nearly 80% of their products being sold on export markets. In Moldova, there are relatively few Hungarian medical equipment on the market, which is not justified, as 85% of Hungarian-developed equipment is sold in the EU and EU associated countries. The range of products offered to Moldovan partners includes: X-ray machines, respirators, blood glucose meters, haematology and clinical chemistry analysers, implants, medical simulators, reagents, cardiology and radiology equipment, ECG holters, neonatal equipment, pulmonology equipment, surgical and endoscopy equipment.
Construction engineering and technical inspection services
Hungarian companies would cooperate with local consortium partners to win engineering and technical supervision contracts. Possible field of cooperation are FIDIC standard engineering and technical contracting services as well as projects requiring specialised knowledge, e.g. design, extension and modernisation of hospitals.
