Located in the main square of Chișinău, the Hungarian stand at the European Village not only promoted our tourist attractions and Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program, but also featured in-person presentations by the well-known and popular spa town of Hajdúszoboszló, as well as Fornetti and OTP Moldova.
In addition to Fornetti’s selection of baked goodies, we offered visitors a traditional beef stew prepared in a cauldron with a slightly spicy taste in order to provide a broader introduction to Hungarian flavours.
As part of the cultural program, Balázs Jeremiás, representing the Szoboszló Folk Dance Ensemble, performed a Szatmár, Rábaköz, and Kalotaszeg lads' dance on the main stage.
The booth’s popularity was further boosted by the almost constant “consultation hours” of a physiotherapist and rehabilitation specialist made available by Hungarospa Zrt.
